Your account and review/notes data

If you sign up for an account, your email and the flashcards/notes you save are stored via Supabase (our backend/database provider) so they sync between this website and the browser extension. You can delete your account data at any time by contacting us.

What stays on your device (never sent anywhere)

Study-direction and label-language preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us.

Information you actively provide

• Contact form — if you submit the feedback form on our Contact page, we receive whatever you enter (name, email, country, and your message) in order to respond to you.
• Purchases — if you buy a language pair, checkout and billing information is handled by our payment processor (Stripe) directly — we do not receive or store your card details.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase — hosts our database and authentication, storing your account, review progress, and notes.
• Stripe — processes payments and stores billing information under its own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which involves your browser contacting Google directly (standard for most modern websites).
• Dictionary data — vocabulary and translations draw in part from JMdict/EDICT and IndoWordNet; see the Terms of Use for attribution details. This is static reference data, not something that tracks you.

Your choices

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by getting in touch.
